New initiatives in the world of business teaching

Despite ending our collaboration with the Barcelona Campus of Toulouse Business School this quarter, through the ‘Sustainable SCM’ module in the Master’s programme (see below), we were contacted shortly afterwards for a special opportunity: to be a guest speaker for visiting students of the MBA programme at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, one of the most prestigious public universities in the country.

It turned out to be a very lively session, with a particularly participative cohort of students eager to discuss sustainability in global sourcing initiatives.

A great experience for all of us involved!

And as mentioned above, we recently ended our ‘fixed’ collaboration with Toulouse Business School in terms of face-to-face teaching with scheduled classes.

We closed by teaching the same module as last academic year, on ‘Sustainable Supply Chain Management’, as part of the school’s successful master’s programme focused on sustainability in business.

A 100% new collaboration took place in Belgium, where we were invited to give a face-to-face lecture on the case of S3 Group as a consulting company in international markets, specifically in a B2B environment.

It was a great experience at Brussels-based Odisée University College, in front of a classroom with more than 120 highly motivated students.  A great day!

Returning to a ‘classic’, we have once again offered the subject of International Trade for students at the International Marketing and International Business bachelor programmes at the IQS School of Management, part of the renowned Ramon Llull University in Barcelona, Spain.

Finally, we returned – virtually at least – to Belgium, where we recently gave an online lecture on China’s role as the ‘Factory of the World’ at the well-known Thomas More University College, with which we have been collaborating for several years, delivering classroom-based courses on sourcing.
