New initiatives in business teaching

When the students of the Master in International Management and Strategy program at Vlerick Business School were asked to pose for a selfie, they didn’t have to think twice! This was actually part of our yearly collaboration at the Brussels Campus of Belgium’s most prestigious business school. And once again, we focused the seminars on how to better understand the reality of business in China.
Another international teaching collaboration, this time 100% new, took place in Lille, France. Here we offered several sessions as part of the Master’s programme on purchasing at Junia, Grande École d’Ingénieurs, associated to the highly regarded Université de Lille. We hope to repeat this pleasant experience in the years to come!
A third and final international collaboration (even though it took place in Barcelona) was a seminar for the Executive MBA students of Auburn University, from the USA, during their visit to Spain last month. Our presentation focused on the difficulties companies are currently facing in terms of supply chain management issues.
Apart from the above-mentioned international news items, we also continued a wide range of teaching assignments with well-respected business schools and universities in Spain, including but not limited to the following ones:

Finally, once again, we are happy (and proud!) to share the news about a former student who decided – based on knowledge received in our courses – to start a business! In this case the spotlights are on Stan Verbruggen, from the Belgian Thomas More business school, who recently started a web-shop focused on cleaning products. Good luck, Stan!
