As a commercial and operational support initiative for the British subsidiary S3UK Ltd., an S3 multinational meeting was held in the UK market in July. In order to visit various potential customers and logistics partners, both Miguel Angel Burges, head of sourcing operations based in Spain, and Salahuddin Noordin, business development manager based in Morocco, travelled to Great Britain.
The visits, coordinated by Adrian Pryce, director of S3UK, served both to support local commercial activity and to enhance collaboration within the S3 team, which is by definition multinational and based in different countries.
In terms of purely commercial meetings, there was a combination of multiple sectors, such as the production and installation of terrace decking, door locking systems and industrial tools.
There was also a series of contacts with the local logistics sector, to find out first-hand what services our partners will be able to offer potential British customers when importing products that the S3 team has managed to purchase in China or other Asian countries.
Finally, of course, there was also time for a bit of relaxation, including tastings of British gastronomic specialities, in order to strengthen the team spirit!
