S³ were invited by the Barcelona urban rubbish disposal department to outsource the complete development and production of its modern state-of-the-art metal street bin and ashtray range.
The main challenges include: the control of production costs, the treatment of steel to achieve maximum resistance in an outdoor environment, technical compatibility with existing models on the market, tight delivery schedules and the complexity of its packaging.
