A few months ago, the British marketing consulting firm Kantar BrandZ published its yearly study on the most valuable brands on a global scale.
We would like to share this information, but in particular focusing on the brands for whom their market value has grown most in the last 12 months. As can be seen in the accompanying image the absolute champion was Tesla.
But equally relevant (maybe even more) is the fact that in the Top-10 of brands with value growth, no less than five are Chinese brands. They are:
- The short video social network Tik Tok
- The e-commerce platform Pinduoduo (about which we talked in the last S3 Newsletter)
- Its main competitor Meituan
- Chinese largest company in the alcoholic beverage industry Moutai
- The e-commerce platform JD, Alibaba’s direct competitor
