New initiatives in business teaching

We start off with a new academic collaboration, this time with Blanquerna, part of the prestigious Ramon Llull University (just like ESADE and IQS, both of which are also in our teaching portfolio).

Acting as guest speaker, we covered a session on internationalisation, focusing on the Chinese market, as part of the Bachelor’s programme in Sports Management.

In the United Kingdom we offered an online course on strategy for the students of the Foreign Trade University in Hanoi, Vietnam.

This collaboration has been going on for quite some years, so we are happy to report on it here, in the business teaching chapter of our Newsletter.

Last year, due to the pandemic, the session could not take place, but this year (and regardless of the pandemic) we were requested again to give our annual Masterclass on internationalisation at the University of Barcelona.

Exactly like the last three years, also this autumn we offered the course on ‘Export Management and Sourcing’ for the students of several Bachelor programmes at the Thomas More University College in Mechelen, Belgium.

Due to the high number of students in the course, eventually two groups were formed, in order to maintain an appropriate follow-up level. www.thomasmore.be

A new collaboration was started with ESEI Business School in Barcelona.

Here we developed a highly interactive session with a group of international students, covering the current turbulent situation in global business and supply chain management, as part of the course on ‘Global Governance’.

Finally, once again, we were asked to coordinate the tutoring of a variety of Final Master’s Projects (six in total this time) at the Sant Cugat Campus of the prestigious ESADE Business & Law School.

The topics covered where, again as usual, very varied, including projects on Switzerland, China, Germany, Indonesia, Belgium and the Persian Gulf region.
