Although S3 Group has generally built up its expertise with an emphasis on components, packaging, finished products and even machinery, from time to time we are approached to handle purchasing management projects in other areas, for example in the chemical industry.
On behalf of a well-known company in the Aragon region in Spain, we have been working over the last few months on a very interesting initiative, which has allowed us to further develop our expertise in the chemical market.
Specifically, we were entrusted with the search and selection of suppliers of magnesium chloride, a product with various applications in industry.
Our investigations were successful and, as a result, the sourcing team recently managed the purchase, inspection and logistics of two 20′ containers of magnesium chloride.
The customer is currently verifying its direct use in a specific industrial process and, if it proves to be successful, the volumes of this speciality chemical managed will be considerably increased.
