Firstly, we have Haoling Ma at the Barcelona office, whose placement is part of the agreement that S3 Group has signed with the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

Haoling Ma is a young Chinese specialist in Hispanic Philology, trained at Central China Normal University, where she has developed a solid foundation in translation, interpreting and teaching Spanish. Her professional experience includes working as a translator for various technology and media companies, participating in content and video game localisation projects, as well as providing interpreting services for Spanish-speaking delegations at official events.
Her talent has been recognised with numerous national and regional awards for interpreting, translation and writing, establishing her as a promising young professional in the linguistic and cultural sphere between China and the Spanish-speaking world.
At S3, Haoling focuses – as she always does with UAB students – on translating the newsletters into Mandarin Chinese.
In addition, as part of our collaboration with the Belgian university PXL, we are also joined by Ethan Vandermaesen.

Ethan is a young Belgian student studying International Business. His academic training focuses on business management with a clear international focus, reflecting his interest in developing his career in multicultural contexts and global professional environments.
His time at Escola Universitària Mediterrani reinforces this vocation, incorporating study abroad experiences that broaden his academic and professional perspective.
Although he is at the start of his career, Ethan has demonstrated a dynamic and networking-oriented approach, with a growing network of contacts and a proactive attitude towards continuous learning.
His presence on professional platforms reflects an interest in understanding business needs, furthering his professional development, and exploring opportunities in sectors related to international trade, sales and business management.
At S3, Ethan supports the development of the Belgian market, which we will report on in future editions of the Newsletter.
