Once again, we are pleased to report on our commercial activities in Brazil, where our long-standing client, Favegrup, commissioned us to source and select a high-quality manufacturer of self-drilling screws, a product of great importance to their business of installing façade cladding.
Self-drilling screws are fasteners specially designed to drill into and secure materials in a single operation, thereby significantly speeding up assembly processes and reducing installation costs.
In façade cladding applications, these screws are widely used to secure metal panels, ventilated façades, sheet metal, profiles and enclosure systems to steel or aluminium structures.
Their drilling capacity, combined with anti-corrosion treatments and sealing gaskets, ensures a secure and long-lasting fix even in demanding environmental conditions.
In this case, an additional feature was included by producing the screws as bimetal, i.e. carbon steel on the penetrating end and stainless steel on the rest, as this part will be exposed to the elements.
Furthermore, the availability of different finishes, colours and technical specifications allows them to be discreetly integrated into the architectural design, providing both functionality and refined aesthetics in modern construction projects.
