New country, new client, new product!

For a new client, with whom we made contact whilst attending the CSCMP conference in Washington DC, USA, in October 2025, we have just completed our first transaction in Egypt, specifically involving a delivery of rolls of ceramic fibre insulation. This material is widely used in industrial applications requiring resistance to high temperatures and energy efficiency.

Manufactured from oxides such as aluminium oxide and silica, it is available in various formats (sheets, panels, paper or modules) that allow it to be adapted to different processes and equipment.

Its main advantage lies in its low thermal conductivity, making it an effective solution for reducing heat loss and improving thermal efficiency in furnaces, boilers, petrochemical equipment and power generation systems.

In addition to its insulating properties, ceramic fibre stands out for its lightness, thermal stability and resistance to thermal shock, which makes it both easy to install and durable in demanding environments.

These characteristics make it possible to optimise industrial processes, reduce energy costs and improve operational safety by maintaining more controlled temperatures on external surfaces.

Against a backdrop of growing focus on energy efficiency and sustainability, its use continues to expand as a key alternative to more traditional refractory materials.

As this first transaction is merely a trial to evaluate the product and, above all, the sourcing process between China and Egypt, led by the S3 Group team, we are confident that it will be a great first step towards successfully developing this highly promising new market!
