New customer, new product!
In keeping with the ‘tradition’ we’ve followed for the past couple of years, we’re pleased to announce a new client and, (almost) inevitably, a new product.
The procurement team at the Spanish subsidiary of the European leader in the design, production and installation of fuel dispensers commissioned us to source and select a Chinese manufacturer of safety disconnectors (also known as ‘breakaways’) for their fuel dispenser systems.
Breakaways are essential devices designed to prevent leaks and accidents at petrol stations, particularly in situations where a hose is subjected to a sudden pull, such as when a vehicle drives off without the nozzle having been removed.
Its main function is to immediately cut off the fuel flow and isolate the supply line at a safe point, thereby preventing spills, fires and damage to both equipment and facilities.
Furthermore, they enable operations to be restored quickly, as many models can be reconnected without the need to replace the entire hose or shut down the pump for long periods. Taken together, these devices are a critical component of industrial safety in environments where the handling of fuels demands the highest levels of protection and reliability.
