The geographical focus during the summer, in terms of teaching, was again – as it was last year – on Mexico.
Not only did we once again participate in the International Summer at the prestigious Universidad Panamericana in Aguascalientes, but we also gave a guest lecture at the Guadalajara Campus of that same institution.
In an even stronger programme than last year, with no less than 20 lecturers from three continents, we again offered the course on ‘Global Trade Trends’ to an enthusiastic group of Latin American students.

We also had the opportunity to visit the UP Campus in Guadalajara, one of the largest cities in the country.
We gave a lecture on ‘Sourcing in China’ to a group of students of the Master programme and met the main managers and teachers, with a view to a possible collaboration next year.

And last but not least, there is also news about our extensive cooperation with OBS Business School, the largest Spanish-language online business school in the world, part of the Spanish-owned Grupo Planeta, as the main business unit of the Planeta Formación y Universidades division.
Throughout the summer, academic work focused on the already well-established TECH MBA, where we taught the module on operations and SCM, and on the Master in Marketing and Sales Management, with a special focus on the direction and management of sales networks.
