Although strictly speaking it is part of the section on sourcing projects, the collaboration that has united us for a year with Johnson Outdoors is an excellent example of the operational and research capacity that S3 Group offers to the market.
Last February, Miguel Angel Burges, head of sourcing projects, visited the Johnson Outdoors offices in the German city of Nuremberg, accompanied by Adrian Pryce, sales manager for the account.
The purpose of the visit was to carry out a joint evaluation of the samples of diving equipment managed by S3 with suppliers in Taiwan and mainland China.
This evaluation took place in coordination with the customer’s European technical team, in order to clarify any doubts about the samples and to set the way forward for the continuation of the sourcing project by Johnson Outdoors.
For S3 Group, as agreed in the contract signed a year ago, this is the end of the project, with a customer who has declared they are very pleased with the results obtained over the last twelve months.
