One of S3‘s sourcing customers, recognized among others as Europe’s largest manufacturer of car number plates, recently requested us to research and select a number of factories providing technology linked to its core business.
On the one hand, high quality self-adhesive rolls were needed, necessary for the production of the number plates, which are in essence complex multilayer products.
On the other hand, the production of the number plates themselves implies the need for certain finishing processes, to make sure the end product looks spotless. For this purpose, the selection of manufacturers of technology to remove burrs and other excess material, was required.
In both cases, the images shown give a fairly clear idea of the nature of these two solutions offered to the customer.
