A new client from Catalonia commissioned us to source and select a manufacturer of O-rings, to incorporate them into their range of façade maintenance machinery.
They are essential components in a wide range of industrial applications due to their ability to ensure an effective seal between two surfaces.
Usually made from elastomers such as nitrile, silicone or fluorocarbon, they are used in hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems to prevent leaks of liquids or gases.
Their simple design — a circular section that deforms when compressed — enables them to create an airtight seal even under varying pressure and temperature conditions, making them a versatile and widely adopted solution in sectors such as the automotive, chemical, energy and industrial machinery industries.
