Despite the gradual decline in S3 Group’s academic activities over the past year, we continue to make our mark at leading higher education institutions, drawing on our expertise in procurement, sourcing and supply chain management.
This was also the case with our latest collaboration at the Zaragoza Logistics Centre (ZLC), which specialises in logistics and supply chain management. It was established in 2003 by the Government of Aragon in collaboration with MIT and is affiliated with the University of Zaragoza.
Recognised as a centre of excellence, it forms part of the MIT Global SCALE network, a global alliance for logistics research and training, and stands out for its close links with industry, its focus on innovation and its participation in numerous European and international R&D projects.
We delivered the module on ‘Strategic Procurement Management’ once again, as part of the Master’s in Supply Chain Management.
ZLC – Zaragoza Logistics Center
One chapter we are now closing, after almost a decade of (very) close collaboration at both an academic and organisational level, is the one that brought us together with OBS – Online Business School, a ‘regular feature’ in this section of the S3 Newsletter.
OBS, based in Barcelona, is a pioneering institution: it was the first 100% online business school established in Spain, founded in 2006 and supported by the University of Barcelona and the Planeta Group.
